Drifters Kitchen & Bar is a completely unique restaurant concept for several reasons. For starters, they are nestled right in the heart of the pine barrens of Ridge, New York. Rooted in the center of this woodsy community, the goal of Drifters aesthetic both interior and design wise is to convey a particular feeling amongst their guests. For the locals who visit, they may browse the restaurant and feel a sense of home. This feeling comes from the subtle, muted color palette and the accents of pine tree photos and icons amongst the graphic design material. The weathers appearance of the typography elicits a feeling of exploration while the typefaces themselves are clean and modern. This is a perfect marriage of the modern addition of Drifters to the nature-filled Pine Barrens that it is surrounded by. Modern and nomadic visuals are bought together through this design and through the very aesthetic that Drifters represents.
