Encompassing the exquisite Mexican culture, Pecado brings fine dining to a whole new level. Established in 2021, Pecado quickly became the newest hot spot in Bay Shore! With its authentic dishes and décor, inspired by various regions of Mexico, you’ll be fully immersed in Mexican culture from the moment you walk in. Before the doors opened, our team helped Pecado put together all that the business needed to build its online presence! Starting off with logo design and website design, we took the time to create something that not only fit the owner’s vision but was also memorable and eye-catching to viewers. When designing Pecado’s logomark, we took inspiration from Día De Los Muertos and the agriculture of Mexico by, combining the classic imagery of a sugar skull with their iconic agave plant. Pecado means “sin” in spanish and our branding strategy was created around that with black, sultry red, charcoal, and white as the base color palette. For photography styling, authentic dishes, moody lighting, and quality tequila are almost always featured together to entice the viewer. A short depth-of-field and closely cropped shots, make the images feel intimate, like Pecado is a place for a sophisticated date night. Typographically, Pecado is unique, as their display typeface is bold and geometric, with organic flourishes and western inspired details in its line variants, placed next to a classic typewriter inspired typeface. From then, we have utilized visuals such as flyers, photography, and videography to promote across various platforms to keep the business thriving and engaging.
