Surf Shack

Surf Shack is a beachside kitchen located on Today Beach in Massapequa, NY. This waterfront restaurant and self-proclaimed flip flop coastal kitchen was revived with a brand new name and identity back in 2018 under new ownership. Since then, this intimate waterfront food joint has been known for it’s delicious cocktails, innovative dishes and inviting atmosphere for friends and families. With dishes as delectable as their seafood linguine or lobster mac & cheese, all the way to their simple yet tasty cheeseburgers and french fries – there’s something for everyone at Surf Shack. Their existing logo introduced colors light and calming such as seafood green and brown. Based on these colors paired with their neutrally decorated interiors, we were able to create a branding style to match the interior of the restaurant with the overall family friendly atmosphere. Shades of minty green and yellow were used across the website and design material such as their menus and promotional flyers and to create a neutral style that is inviting to beach goers of all ages.
