The Oar

From its start as a small snack bar on the Patchogue Riverfront, The Oar has evolved into many peoples favorite waterfront spot for any occasion, event or just a fun night out. People know The Oar for it’s beautiful view and perfect location where customers will dock their boats, enjoy a meal and maybe some live music. Their nautical theme and delict menu make their demographic expand amongst many different kinda of people – families, friends, couples and everything in between. Because of this, we knew our approach on refreshing their visual identity had to create an approachable image to all people. With the brands original colors and logo we were able to create a beautiful branding style using old-fashioned maps, nautical graphics and traditional serif fonts. Aside from our approach on visual identity, we also helped The Oar dive deeper into the the world of social media by updating their way of promoting events and specials being ran in their restaurant. Now, all possible events that are happening at The Oar continue to be pushed across multiple different platforms to reach a wider audience and keep customers informed.
