O’Neill’s Sales Exchange

O’Neill’s Sales Exchange is one of the longest standing businesses on Main Street in Patchogue. With that longevity also comes an extremely loyal customer base and an abundance of trust within the community. This reputation is important to the services they provide, as they they not only buy and sell jewelry but they were also the first collateral loan brokers in Suffolk County. Our approach on this project was to embody all of this and put it into their new branding style. When creating the logo, we decided to create a traditional coat of arms. But instead of throwing together traditional visuals, we decided to customize it so that there was a deeper meaning behind it that represented the company. We chose to use a swallow, which resembles someone with great experience – but also is known to represent a person who is prompt and ready in doing business. We also added the pawn chess piece as a double innuendo, along with the common known pawn shop symbol. Aside from the logo, we also created an elegant website design to match their brand. This website was responsive, accessible and informative for all potential users.
